Shillong, Feb 9: The delay in announcing the candidates names will have a negative impact on the Party, said BJP leader and cabinet Minister, Alexander Hek Laloo.
All political parties having named their official candidates, except the Saffron Party.
“What can we do, we cannot do anything as the decision is taken by the central leaders”, Hek said.
Hek also stated that the meeting by the central leadership has not been called yet and he will not be in a position to disclose any information.
If murmurs in the political circles are to be believed ed, former BJP state president Ernest Marwrie, Supreme Court Advocate Fenela L Nonglait, and Cabinet Minister AL Hek himself are seeking the MP tickets from Shillong.
While Tura MDC and BJP state vice president Bernard Marak, Songsak contestant for the BJP Thomas Marak, and former GHADC CEM Boston Marak are aspiring for the BJP ticket from the Tura seat.
