SHILLONG, SEPT 29: NPP state president and Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong on Tuesday asserted that the ruling NPP remains fully united and faces no threat from BJP’s expansion efforts.
Responding to queries on BJP expansion posing a threat to NPP, Tynsong said, “No, I don’t see any threat at all.”
Asked if any MLA is set to join NPP, he said, “As of today, no.”
Reiterating party unity, he said, “Being the president of the party, I just want to tell you one thing, it is 101 percent, 33 NPP MLAs are intact. We don’t have any misunderstanding and there is no one also who intends to come out of NPP.”
On whether BJP has asked for cabinet expansion, he said, “No such conditions.”
