Shillong, June 24: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shillong Municipal Board (SMB), P.K. Boro, filed a complaint on Monday against a man allegedly involved in collecting money from street vendors in Shillong using the name of the Shillong Municipal Board.
In a statement, Boro informed that the office had received reports of a person collecting money with fake receipts bearing the SMB name from street vendors under the pretext of vendor registration.
