Shillong, April 03: The Chief Electoral Officer, Meghalaya has informed that as part of the Model Code of Conduct for the ensuing Lok Sabha election, 2024 seizures in the form of cash, drugs, freebies etc. were made across the State.
Seizures made on 2nd April, 2024 are as follows:
Cash (In Lacs) 5.4626; Liquor (Quantity In Litre) 3,920.92; Liquor (Monetary Value) 5.37486; Drugs (Quantity In Gms) 0; Drugs (Monetary Value) 0; Precious Metal (Quantity In Gms) 0; Precious Metal (Monetary Value) 0; Freebies (Quantity In Number) 0; Freebies (Monetary Value) 0; Other Items (Quantity In Number) 2778; Other Items (Monetary Value) 1.1112.
Total seizures on 2nd April, 2024 – (Cash In Lacs) 11.94866.
