Himanta seeks PM’s participation in key projects, briefs on pro-people initiatives, and plans for economic growth

New Delhi, Dec 11: Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, expressed profound gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. Through a series of tweets, CM Sarma provided a detailed update on the state’s ongoing pro-people initiatives and extended invitations for the Prime Minister’s involvement in pivotal projects.

During their meeting, CM Sarma conveyed Assam’s appreciation for the Prime Minister’s unwavering guidance and leadership. In a tweet, he shared, “I had the privilege to call upon Prime Minister today and share Assam’s immense gratitude for his continuous guidance & leadership and briefed him on the ongoing pro-people programs during our interaction.”

“It was my pleasure to extend an invitation to PM Modi to visit Assam and lay the foundation stone of Kamakhya Corridor project, dedicate grand statue of Bir Lachit at Jorhat & Inaugurate Tinsukia Medical College & lay the foundation of Sivasagar Medical College,” he added.

“Furthermore, I took the opportunity to seek PM Modi’s counsel on organising the Assam Business Summit in 2024. Our aim is to establish it as a platform to attract private investments and accelerate our economic growth,” he tweeted.
