Guwahati, Aug 13: In a heartbreaking incident, the beheaded body a 12-year-old boy was found in a hostel room of a Madrassa in Assam’s Cachar district on Sunday morning.
According to reports, the boy, a student of the madrassa, had gone to his room to sleep after having dinner the previous night; however, on Sunday morning, his beheaded body was found.
The body of the boy was found lying on the floor by a teacher of the madrassa when he had gone to the hostel room to wake up the students for Fazr namaz.
Soon after the beheaded body of the boy was recovered, the authorities of the madrasa immediately informed the Dholai police, said Sources.
After police reached the spot, around 20 fellow students who were sharing the hostel room with the boy, and three teachers were questioned.
However, Police has launched investigation into the gruesome murder while the madrassa has also been sealed.
Meanwhile, the body of the young boy has been sent to hospital for post mortem examination.
