Shillong, June 18: Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar is set to attend the ‘NE Farmers Producers Organization Conclave’ at the Central Agricultural University, Imphal, at College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Umiam.
The event will be organised by the Central Agricultural University, Imphal, at College of Post Graduate Studies in Agricultural Sciences, Umiam.
According to a statement released, the programme is set to be held from June 24 to June 26.
In the programme, farmer producer organisations from across the Northeast will be participating and interact with the investors in the agricultural sectors.
The statement further said, “During the programme, FPO/ FBO meet, investors/entrepreneurs meet, buyer-seller meet, exhibition and interaction, and presentation from reputed experts and students will be the major focus on investment in agriculture, and allied will be discussed”.
It further said that more than 200 participants, including ministers and officials, are likely to attend the programme.
