Shillong, June 23: Four drug traffickers were arrested with heroin from two locations in Shillong on Saturday.
Ram Singh (29) and Vijay Singh (20) from Punabi lane were apprehended by the anti-narcotic task force (ANTF) East Khasi Hills along with a team from Mawlai police station at ISBT, Mawiong, police said.
From their possession, 9 soap boxes containing heroin weighing 110.32 grams, two mobile phones and scooty Aprilia without registration number, have been seized, they said.
In another operation, Evanjrlyne Thongni of Lapalang, Lummarboh and John Robert Kharmyndai of Nongmynsong were arrested from Demthring under Madanrting police station.
One soap box containing heroin weighing 11.43 grams, two mobile phones and a scooty (ML 05 L 7620) were seized from their possession.
