Tura, Aug 30: A young boy identified as Eman Mann belonging to Bangalkata village of Chibinang, under Phulbari police station area in West Garo Hills lost his life after he drowned in the Rongsai Valley Dam.
According to officials, teams from the Fire brigade and police were informed by villagers and a search was conducted under the water but could not locate him as the river water at the dam site was murky. They finally managed to locate and retrieve his body on Wednesday morning.
