West Jaintia Hills’ boxers felicitated for winning medals at NE Games 2022

Jowai, Nov 20: The West Jaiñtia Boxing Association (WJBA) and the Meghalaya People United Front (MPUF) on Saturday felicitated three pugilists who won medals during the recent held 2nd North East Olympic Games 2022 in Shillong.

The pugilists included Badonkupar Synnah – won gold in the 57-60kg category, Baiamutlang Sungoh – bronze medalist in the 60 – 63.5Kg category, and Bhalang Shadap – won gold under the 63.5 – 67Kg category.

A short gathering was organised in Ladthadlaboh, Jowai, where the MDC from Shangpung T. Suchiang was the Chief Guest.

The trio thanked the Meghalaya Boxing Association which had trained them for almost two weeks prior to the Games.
