West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Jagdish Chelani confirmed the turnout, noting that polling is underway smoothly across all 51 designated stations in the constituency.

However, there was a minor issue, as some polling stations faced technical glitches with the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

The VVPAT at the 39-Rongkon Songital LP School polling station was replaced at the start of the polling process, while at the 51-Dilniduara polling station, the entire EVM set was replaced before voting began, according to DC Jagdish Chelani.
