UCC will have negative impact on the freedom and rights of tribal and minority of India: Jipson R Marak

Tura, July 9: The President of Tura Bar association Jipson R Marak on Saturday said that implementing the UCC will have a negative impact on the freedom and right of the minority communities and the tribal of India.

Talking on implementation of UCC, Jipson R Marak also said that they are sending message to all the minister in regard to opposing the implementation of UCC, that are being the backward classes and under protection of VI (Sixth) schedule.

He said, “We also strongly object the imposition of UCC specially in the state of Meghalaya and across India which will effect the personal laws.
