Tripura: Ruckus between BJP & Tipra MOTHA inside Assembly, 5 MLAs suspended

Agartala, July 7: Five MLAs were suspended on Friday from the Tripura Assembly for “disrupting” House proceedings, Official said.

The three MLAs who were suspended by the Assembly Speaker Biswabandh Sen for the day are CPI(M) legislator Nayan Sarkar, Congress’ Sudip Roy Barman and three Tipra Motha MLAs.

The three suspended Tipra Motha legislators are Nandita Reang,Briswaketu Debbarma and Ranjit Debbarma.

Also, a ruckus broke out between the MLAs of BJP & Tipra MOTHA party during the Assembly session today.

It all started when opposition party leader, Animesh Debbarma raised a question on the porn movie-watching issue by the BJP MLA, Jadav Lak Nath of Tripura Bagbassa Assembly. The Speaker of the House said to get back to him after some other important issues but the MLAs of opposition parties started agitating & shouting slogans. Five aggressive MLAs from the house were suspended.

Following the suspension, the Opposition parties staged a walkout.
