Sr Advocate VG Kynta quits BJP

Shillong, April 25: After being a member of the BJP for almost a year, Advocate VG Kynta has disassociated himself from the party on Tuesday.

He said that the saffron party has sidelined him.

“Right from the day I have joined the party, they have not assigned me with any duties or work”, said Adv Kynta.

According to Kynta, he has been in constant touch with the BJP state chief on his role and responsibilities, however, he was not given any charge.

“I was not assigned any duties, infact it was a very humiliating situation as I have joined the party with a hope that to work for the State as well for the people of the State”, he added.

The senior advocate have joined the party on November 28, 2022.

The senior advocate further stated that he does not want to be used as a “mantelpiece”.

“I am one person who love to stoke a fire. Since, I am not assigned with any duties till today, therefore, it is my duty to give up with this political party”, he added.
