Shillong, Dec 12: In a unique twist to the traditional red attire, Santa Claus made an appearance in a green dress at the 5th edition of the Winter Tales Festival in Shillong. The jolly old man’s message was clear: Go Green for an eco-friendly environment.

The festival, which promotes sustainable tourism and eco-friendly initiatives, provided the perfect platform for Santa’s green message.

As he mingled with the crowd, Santa emphasized the importance of protecting the environment and adopting eco-friendly practices.

“I’ve been watching over the children of the world for centuries, and it’s heartbreaking to see the impact of pollution and climate change on our planet,” Santa said.

“That’s why I’m spreading the message of going green and living sustainably. Every small step counts, and together we can make a big difference,” he added.
