Ronnie Lyngdoh resigns as Leader of Opposition

Shillong, Aug 27: Congress leader Ronnie V. Lyngdoh has resigned as the Leader of Opposition (LO) in the 11th Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.

A notification issued by the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Secretariat on Monday said Lyngdoh had resigned from the post of Leader of Opposition with effect from Monday and his resignation was accepted by the Speaker.
