Tura, June 27: The Prime Hub Tura organised FSSAI Registration for Food processing Entrepreneurs of Garo hills in collaboration with the Food and Safety Departmenton Tuesday.
The registration for the same started at 10 am by the Asst. commissioner T Ch. Marak along with one food safety officer and five staff members at the Prime Hub Conference room.
While speaking to the Hub News, Tura Centre Manager, Lisa M Sangma said “The main objective for this program is that, most of our food processing entrepreneurs in Garo Hills are not aware of FSSAI licensing and to connect with the right dept. or food safety licensing dept.
“So PRIME being a one stop centre for all entrepreneurs and start ups today, organised FSSAI facilitation program in collaboration with FSSAI Asst commissioner and team for all food processing entrepreneurs by connecting them to get on the spot registrations at the hub”, she added.
More than seventy people turned up, for FSSAI Registration.
After the on spot registration, the applicants were also given a certificate via Email of the applicant.
Also, due to bad network connectivity many applicants had to wait for good reception to recieve or process.
