Shillong, Sep 17: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Sunday wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 73rd birthday.
Taking to X, CM Conrad wrote, “Wishing the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji a blessed birthday. His dynamism is recognised around the world and he continues to be an inspiring leader adored by the people for his vision, deep-rooted values and humility. Meghalaya and the North East are grateful to him for his efforts to develop the region. May God bless him generously with good health and long life.”

To mark his birthday, the government is set to launch the ambitious Vishwakarma Yojana, a scheme to help those earning a living through traditional skills, as part of a major outreach to members of the Other Backward Communities ahead of the Lok Sabha election next year. A new health campaign called ‘Ayushman Bhava’ will also be launched today.
Prime Minister Modi was born in Gujarat’s Vadnagar on September 17, 1950.
