Shillong, Sept 11: The National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) has extended heartfelt wishes for the speedy recovery of NPP State President and Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong, following his recent illness.
Kitborlang Nongrem, the state president of NPYF, confirmed that Tynsong has shown improvement after receiving treatment. He also noted that all NPP leaders have joined in wishing Tynsong good health and strength during his recovery.
Nongrem expressed regret over the negative comments circulating on social media, which he said have caused distress to Tynsong’s family.
The NPYF chief expressed grief and said that in such difficult times, it is inappropriate to wish ill on anyone, regardless of political differences.
Dy CM Tynsong was admitted to Nazareth Hospital on September 9. On Wednesday, he was flown to Delhi for further medical treatment.
