SHILLONG, FEB 23: The National People’s Party (NPP) has appointed Bappun A. Sangma, Communication & Social Media In-Charge of NPYF North Garo Hills, as Coordinator for the upcoming Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) elections.
In an order issued Monday, the party said Sangma will oversee election-related activities in 18-Batabari and 19-Shyam Nagar constituencies.
“As Coordinator, Bappun A. Sangma shall be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all election-related activities… to ensure smooth and efficient conduct of the election process,” the order signed by state working president Marcuise Marak stated.
The party directed all leaders and workers to extend full cooperation to Sangma with immediate effect.
