Shillong, April 29: Written examination for job recruitment in the Meghalaya police will commence next month.
Informing this on Tuesday, Deputy Chief Minister in-charge Home (Police) Prestone Tynsong said he convened a meeting with the Director General of Police (DGP) and other officials of the Home department to review the status of the recruitment process, which is still going on.
He said since PET exams are completed, now the department will conduct the written examination throughout the state by next month and thereafter the personal interview will take place.
