Tura, July 13: A man likely suffering from depression committed suicide at Kongbe Ading, Tura, in Meghalaya.
The victim has been identified as Senches D. Sangma, 28 years old.
According to reports, Pringkame D. Sangma, Daughter of Allenson T. Sangma and a resident of Tura’s Kongbe Ading, informed that her brother had been missing since 7/7/2023. The decomposed body was found in the jungle near their residence.
However, no missing report was filed.
An inquest over the dead body has been done, and the body is kept at the mortuary room, Civil Hospital, Tura, for PME.
The incident has left the local community shocked and saddened. Authorities are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s tragic death.
