Shillong, July 11: Body of a male was found lying behind the MTC building outside the shop of Star Aquarium Shop, Jail Road, leading towards Pegasus Junction on June 24.
Now, the office of the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills (EKH), has requested the public to identify the dead body.
According to the press release issued by Superintendent of Police office, the dead body has kept at Civil Hospital Morgue Room for identification and claim after the PM examination.
The SP Office informed that the deceased is aged between 25-35, lean, swarthy in complexion and has a height of 165 cm (approx.).
Also, the person was found wearing black jumper, black colour semi jeans, and black colour slippers.
Meanwhile, the SP office has registered a case in this connection, and requested all concerned citizen of the state to identify the deceased by calling on the following numbers: O/C Sadar PS 0364-2224818/2224400 or I/C Police Control Room, Shillong: 03642222214/2222215.
