Man loses life to drowning at Tura Pelga waterfalls

Tura, May 25: A man lost his life to a case of drowning in Pelga Dare waterfalls of Tura on Saturday afternoon. His body has been retrieved and taken to Tura Civil hospital for post mortem.

The victim reportedly got swept by the under currents of the water leading to his demise.

Police were informed through a telephonic call about the incident at Araimile police station and a team was despatched to the site.

The deceased person has been identified as Late Sisil S Sangma (52Yrs), a resident of New Walbakgre near TV tower, Dakopgre Tura.
