Jaden R Pariat from Meghalaya makes history with MRF Formula 2000 title

Guwahati, August 19: Jaden Rahman Pariat, from Northeast, bagged the MRF Formula 2000 championship title at the final round of the Indian National Car Racing Championship in the single-seater category which was held recently at the Madras International Circuit, Chennai. He is the first from Eastern India to achieve this feat.

Seventeen-year-old Jaden secured his eighth victory in ten races, starting from pole position and outpacing his rivals to claim the coveted championship. His exceptional talent and skill have positioned him as a rising star in Indian motorsports and made the entire Northeast, particularly his home state Meghalaya extremely proud.

Expressing his joy over his achievement, Jaden said, “The continued hard work has paid off and the tireless support from my family, my team, and well-wishers has helped me taste success over the years. I am extremely happy and looking forward to a more exciting journey.”

Jaden made his karting debut in November 2020 under Indian outfit MSport in the Meco FMSCI National Karting Championship. Apart from winning several championships, he is also the first Indian racer to secure a podium in the British F4 rookie class in 2023 ass in 2023
