IIM Shillong enters into strategic partnership with James Cook University of Singapore

Shillong, Oct 7: In a move to bolster its international presence, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with James Cook University (JCU), Singapore. This is the institute’s 25th international MoU.

The agreement aims to foster a dynamic exchange of academic resources, research collaborations, and cultural interactions between the two institutions. By engaging in joint academic programs and research initiatives, this collaboration is expected to enhance the learning experience for students and faculty, broadening their exposure to international best practices.

“The partnership with JCU represents a milestone in our journey toward global academic excellence,” said [IIM Shillong spokesperson]. “This collaboration will provide our students with expanded opportunities for academic exchange, joint degree programs, and a platform for co-curricular activities that will nurture their global competencies.”

In addition to student exchanges and joint degrees, the MoU will encourage joint research initiatives and faculty development programs, enabling knowledge sharing across a wide range of disciplines. The focus on interdisciplinary cooperation will also create new opportunities for innovation and research, benefitting both academic communities.
