Shillong, Jan 10: The ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Meghalaya on Tuesday inked an MoU with the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) for academic and research collaboration as per ICAR, New Delhi, guidelines at ICAR HQ in Umiam.
USTM is the first private University with which ICAR RC-NEH, Umaim has come into agreement to collaborate for academics and research in agricultural and allied sciences.
This MoU would be of immense benefits to both parties (ICAR & USTM) by harnessing each other’s capabilities to further the interest of the farming community, students, youths and for overall development of the North East region.
ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region is known for its excellent research in agricultural and allied sciences while USTM is known for its vast student base who requires quality education in the emerging areas of cutting edge science and development of self-reliance through agricultural entrepreneurs.
