Shillong, Nov 02: Harbax Singh Dhillon has taken over as the Inspector General of the Border Security Force (BSF) for the Meghalaya Frontier. As of November 1, 2023, he officially assumed his new role, overseeing the frontier’s security and operations Shillong.
Taking to X, Meghalaya BSF wrote, “On 1st Nov’ 2023, Sh Harbax Singh Dhillon, IG, took over the charge as Inspector General of BSF Meghalaya Frontier.”
Meanwhile, in a major bust, authorities in Meghalaya have intercepted a massive cache of clothing and cosmetic items worth Rs 11 lakh (approximately 4 billion Bangladeshi Taka) intended for smuggling into Bangladesh through the international border in East Khasi Hills.
