Admit cards for Meghalaya Police PET available for download

Shillong, Dec 19: Meghalaya Inspector General of Police, Dalton P. Marak, on Thursday announced that admit cards for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) at four designated centers have been made available for download starting December 16, 2024.

The centers include the 1st MLP Battalion in Mawiong, Shillong; the 2nd MLP Battalion in Goeragre, Tura; the 4th MLP Battalion in Sohpian, Nongstoin; and the 5th MLP Battalion in Samanda, Williamnagar.

Candidates appearing for the PET are requested to download their admit cards from the official Meghalaya Police website at www.megpolice.gov.in.

Marak also stated that candidates wishing to change their PET date must submit a formal application to the Member Secretary, Central Recruitment Board, Meghalaya Police. Applications can be submitted in person at the Office of the Central Recruitment Board in Mawroh, Shillong, or via email at [email protected], along with all relevant supporting documents.

He clarified that candidates are allowed to change their PET date only once, provided the request is based on valid reasons. The deadline for submitting such applications is January 2, 2025, and no requests will be entertained after this date.

Candidates are urged to regularly check the official Meghalaya Police website for updates. For further queries, they may contact the Office of the Central Recruitment Board in Mawroh, Shillong, or call the helpline at 6033164273 during office hours on working days.
