New Delhi, Jan 30: Political strategist Prashant Kishor on Monday said that the BJP-led NDA is poised to reclaim power in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, either maintaining or surpassing its previous seat count. Kishor also anticipated a substantial lead for the NDA in Bihar, underlining his prediction for a robust electoral performance.
Prashant Kishor attributed the BJP’s strength to the popularity of Modi, the party’s robust presence, and the absence of viable opposition, especially given the reluctance of a significant portion of Bihar’s populace to support Lalu Yadav’s RJD.
Kishor confidently predicted a lead for the BJP in the state, referencing the NDA’s impressive performance in the previous elections, securing 335 seats overall and an overwhelming 39 out of 40 seats in Bihar.
His prediction comes a day after Bihar CM Nitish Kumar ditched RJD to join the NDA.
In the previous month, Prashant Kishor had asserted that the BJP held a lead over the INDIA alliance, citing the party’s advantage in the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha polls. He attributed this advantage to the BJP’s victories in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
