Catholics filled the city streets as the Annual Eucharistic Procession, widely known for its significance in the Catholic Church, unfolded.

The revered Eucharistic procession, globally known as “Corpus Christi” – translating to “the Body of Christ” in Latin, holds a profound place in the Catholic Church’s history. Its origins can be traced back to 1247 when it was first observed in Liege, Belgium. Over the centuries, this solemn event has transcended local boundaries, becoming a universally celebrated tradition.
