Shillong, Nov 9: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Thursday approved the NPP Meghalaya State Executive Committee list.
This comes after Deputy Chief Minister and NPP state president Prestone Tynsong in a letter requested CM Conrad Sangma to approval the names of the office bearers to the state executive committee of the National People’s Party of the state.
In response to the letter, CM said that he is pleased to approve the list of office members of the state executive committee.
Tynsong had highlighted the dynamics of the electoral politics and due to the diversity of the population in the state which is one of the major concern to appoint the NPP’s state office bearers.
